Berowra Independent candidate, Tina Brown, joins Sam Lawrence and Roman de Vallance on this week’s episode of Central News’ election podcast, The Pub Test.

On May 3 Brown is hoping to break the Liberal’s stranglehold on Berowra, the seat held by Julian Leeser, the shadow assistant minister for foreign affairs.

Brown also spoke about the importance of Independent candidates and the policies that matter most to local voters, including climate change and the environment.

“My background is community entrenched, I think I am an easy option to consider,” Brown tells Roman and Sam. “Because for the first time, politics will be done bottom up, not down.

“I will be the member of Berowra, and that is all I will be.”

The Pub Test podcast is a weekly discussion of the latest election news and polls, breaking down key issues in the vote, and asking if the policies of the parties pass or fail the ‘pub test’.
