Across Sydney’s CBD, tens of thousands of Pro-Palestine protesters marched from Hyde Park to Belmore Park calling for an end to the war in Gaza.
Protest organisers Palestine Action Group estimated 100,000 people in Sydney took part in the Nationwide March for Palestine.
The protesters called for the Australian government to place sanctions on Israel and for an end to the two-way arms trade.
