The cost of living crisis has hit small businesses hard, and Nadia Leslie, owner of a gym in the Sutherland Shire, is feeling the strain.

Fewer clients can afford memberships due to rising everyday expenses and council rates are increasing.

“It comes down to people just not having enough money to spend on themselves and their health and fitness,” the business owner told Central News.
