Catalina McCaw found her people when she embraced Pin-Up culture, or the world of retro ’50s fashion and Americana.

“It started off with Elvis, with the music. Then the cars and going to rock ‘n’ roll nights… dressed up,” the NSW school teacher told Central News. “And then realising, ‘I can dress like this every day’.”

McCaw found a community to be part of and which embraced her, and even met the love of her life. But when fate tragically intervened the community was also there to help her pick up the pieces.
