Identity is at the core of the Black Lives Matter movement, and nowhere is the cry for recognition better written than on the faces of the hundreds of thousands of protesters rallying in cities around the world.

In addition to providing live updates, UTS Journalism students captured the despair and determination on the faces of those who marched in the June 6 rally through Sydney, as they called for an end to Aboriginal deaths in custody.
